Our Angsana Spa.

First Phuket, Maldives, Sri Lanka & now Killarney. It is almost 5 years since we brought Europe's Flag Ship Angsana Spa to The Brehon. Since then our wonderful Thai Therapists have become ambassadors for a new spa experience in Ireland.
The Angsana Spa offers an extensive range of holistic, non-clinical treatments & massages to refresh & revitalise the Physical being. Using Aromatherapy and a healing sense of touch, the Angsana Spa here at The Brehon is a sanctuary for the inner self.
All our Thai Therapists have been extensively trained at the Banyan Tree Academy in Phucket and have been part of The Brehon family since 2004.

 

The Vitality Suite

The Vitality Suite at The Angsana Spa is designed to enhance your spa journey by preparing your body & mind for your Thai Spa Experience. The Vitality suite is also ideal for relaxation after a round of golf or a ramble in Killarney National Park.   Enjoy complimentary relaxation time in our Angsana Spa when you book accommodation at The Brehon.  This is an adult only facility.  Children can avail of the leisure facilities at The Gleneagle Hotel with our compliments.

The Vitality Suite Encompasses:

Herb Sauna ~ A sauna with lavender scent

Crystal Steam Room ~ A steam treatment room infused with oriental fragrances

Caldarium ~ The interplay of heat and moisture stimulates the circulation and thoroughly and gently cleanse the skin and respiratory tract. Muscular tension relaxes, stress is reduced, limbs and joint pains are eased. The Caldarium is a mild, but effective means of relieving stress and helping regeneration.

Tropical Showers ~ A shower programmed to flow gently, then building up to a deluge before gradually reducing to a fine drizzle, mimicking a tropical rain shower

Ice Fountain ~ Crushed ice is used to rub and cool the body after heat treatment

Kubeldusche ~ A thick rope is attached to the side of a 29-litre overhead bucket for the tilting and drenching of cold water after a heat treatment
